The UPMC Development is neatly positioned between two high profile arenas in the vicinity. The primary design drivers focused on creating a dynamic architectural structure which equally achieves space efficiencies which delivers on the business viability of the assignment. The proposed design carefully balances these requirements of the client brief and evaluation criteria whilst proposing a lively and contextual mixed-use building in this popular suburb of Dubai.

The building height profile is G+M+5 and comprises a mix of residential and commercial components interwoven with landscaped areas. The resulting design development and arcaded retail is one of vibrancy and identity which is carefully underpinned by a rational and buildable chassis. The raised ground floor creates extensive courtyards and green spaces which are separated from ground level vehicle access. Streetscape and pedestrian movement is enhanced through the active depth of the ground level and retail spaces. Ribbon balconies defines the linearity and flow across the building facades and provides an appropriate architectural contour solution.
