A two-tower development comprising one residential and one five star serviced apartment buildings. AK Design was appointed for the architectural and interior design scope of work after winning a design competition held by the client. The basic footprint of the towers was pre-determined due to the significant amount of piling which had already been completed in 2008. However, this has been overcome by stepping the towers to enhance the views across Business Bay and to the other side of the Zabeel Stables. The main external entry ramps from grade level under a contemporary metal canopy feature to full podium height and allows for resident and general pedestrian access to the central community gardens. 

Considering the prime location of the plot at one end of the main boulevard, this development will become a major landmark in Business Bay, especially as future infrastructure makes this district more accessible. Both towers have been topped out and the stepped down massing from G+30 to G+18 is completed. Significant areas of the facades are now glazed. The more unique stepped fenestration on the high and low elevations of both buildings is now highly visible together with the similarly arranged balcony slabs with glass balustrading on the side elevations. Work progresses on the landscaping and swimming pools. AK Design have deployed a full construction supervision team to manage the works to compliant completion.
